Do Jews Face Different Issues in Confronting Addiction?

Does being Jewish raise questions for participating in recovery programs?

Is the Jewish community in denial about a serious problem in our midst?

WHAT CAN WE DO?

I am writing a book to help Jewish addicts and their loved ones accept addiction and recovery within the context of Jewish culture and tradition. The working title is: No Jewish Addicts... and Other Myths.

YOU CAN HELP

You can help by completing the short survey at the link below. Please note that your anonymity will be protected at all times. The survey software does not automatically capture the e-mail address of the respondent.
I have included a space for you to include a first name, e-mail address, and/or a phone number so that I can contact you in the future if you want to contribute further.
I am very interested in any story, experience, anecdote, or opinions that you would like to contribute in addition to the survey.
Please complete the survey, and pass this site on to anyone you might know who is Jewish and who has had experience with addiction - themselves or in their families.
Thank you.
